Introduction
A visionary youth destination in Huzhou where sport, culture, and technology converge, creating a new platform designed to inspire the next generation.
A New Stage for Youth
The Olympic Youth Center in Huzhou is more than a sports complex. It is a platform for youth development, cultural exchange, and future innovation. Anchored by three destinations, the Youth Culture Center, the International Clay Tennis Center, and the Future Center, the project creates a vibrant ecosystem where Olympic values meet contemporary experiences. From world-class tournaments on red clay to immersive digital sports and cultural storytelling, OYC invites young people to explore, compete, learn, and connect. It represents a new model for civic development in China that places youth energy, creativity, and ambition at its core.

The Challenge
We were asked to create a brand identity for a pioneering youth destination that brings together sport, culture, and technology, while connecting Olympic values with the ambitions of a new generation.
OYC required more than a logo. It needed a complete brand system capable of expressing Olympic heritage while engaging a modern generation. The challenge was to create a unified identity across three distinct centers: a premium clay tennis venue, a cultural hub, and a forward-looking technology center. Each space serves different audiences and experiences, yet all needed to feel connected under one vision. At the same time the brand had to perform across architecture, events, digital media, and merchandise. It needed to be scalable for future expansion while still reflecting the local character and identity of Huzhou.

Concept
Our concept is built around convergence where youth, sport, culture, and technology meet, expressed through a dynamic monogram that captures motion, unity, and future possibility.
At the center of the identity sits the OYC monogram, a symbol formed by the letters O, Y, and C flowing together into a continuous mark. The design reflects the convergence of Olympic legacy, youth energy, and cultural progress. The central Y represents youth at the heart of the project, while the surrounding forms express movement and cycles of opportunity. This symbol became the foundation for a flexible visual language used across the campus and communications. Graphic elements derived from the mark create rhythm and direction across signage, merchandise, and digital platforms, ensuring the identity remains cohesive while always feeling dynamic.

Solution
A modular brand system designed for scale, connecting three centers under one identity while allowing each location to express its character.
The final identity system combines a strong master brand with distinctive expressions for each center. A medal-inspired palette differentiates the spaces. Gold represents the Youth Culture Center, clay bronze reflects the Tennis Center, and silver signals the Future Center. The OYC monogram extends into graphic devices, environmental patterns, and wayfinding elements that guide visitors through the campus. Flexible templates support communications, events, merchandise, and digital channels, enabling consistent implementation across vendors and partners. Together the system creates a cohesive yet adaptable identity that can grow with the Olympic Youth Center as it evolves into a national platform for youth, sport, and innovation.
